I had a baby 4 months ago and stopped breastfeeding 2 months ago. When should I have my first period?

I had a baby five months ago. Can I begin taking the pill again even though I haven't had my period yet?

Yes: Yes. If you are breastfeeding, your period might not come back right away. Hormone levels: Your hormone levels are fluctuating a lot right now - have given birth, are breast feeding.... Your uterus doesn't know quite what to do yet, nor do your ovaries.
