My baby 12 months old having fever since two days, on examination found to have white spots on throat, what may be it? Is there anything to get worried

The american academy of pediatrics recommends calling your dr if your baby is older than 6 months w a temp of 103 or higher with sxs like coughing, earaches, fussiness, vomiting, diarrhea, no appetite or marked lethargy.
