Usual symptoms: 2nd time in 2 weeks I felt swelling in bottom of my foot, itchy, painful tot walk. This morning woke up with swollen scrotum and penis?
My 11 yr old son has a sore, swollen scrotum. Both testicles seem fine, the center area between is swollen, skin around the area is itchy and burns.
?angioedema...: At age 11, the first that comes to my mind is spontaneous twisting of appendages inside scrotum. If the contents inside scrotum are normal by history, palpation, and optional ultrasound, i would consider if he has angioedema of scrotum. Of course, a good history and adequate physical exam would help a diagnosis. If any doubt, see expert timesly. Good luck. ...Read more
See Urologist: Could be as simple as a local yeast infection that can be corrected with a topical antifungal ointment or could be as serious as a bacterial cellulitis which would require oral if not IV antibiotics. The swelling could be from local inflammation or fluid around the testes called hydra cells. A urologic evaluation or at least being seen in a urgent care or by primary care physician is necessary. ...Read more

"Oozing fluid" suggests a fairly severe infection, so it may not be safe to attempt over-the-counter treatment, and it's possible you would benefit from an oral antibiotic prescription. See a doctor and take it from there. Good luck! ...Read more
Red boil-like sore on scrotum. isn't hurting but it feels irritating. It doesn't feel itchy.little yellow top. area around is firm/hard and swollen?
See below: Probable early onset of a boil/furuncle/abscess usually related to an infected hair follicle or sebaceous cyst of the scrotum. At home treatment includes keeping scrotum clean and warm moist compresses to help it either resolve or "come to a head." Manually "squeezing" the boil potentially more harmful than helpful. If worsens, see MD for possible antibiotics and/or incision and drainage. ...Read more

Eczema: Sometimes eczema acts similarly to 'jock itch' but doesnt respond to anti-fungals. I have a very itchy skin sore between the anus and the scrotum. It is almost like a sore swollen raised line between the 2. Had for months.Infection?
Unlikely: Infection, unless with a very benign slowly progressive pathogen would have declared itself and forced you to a doctor by now. But without seeing this and getting a full history, would just be guessing at possible diagnoses. See a doctor. ...Read more
