Separate things: Swollen tonsil with no pain or obstruction requires no therapy as it will eventually shrink on its own. Itchy scalp is not related. Painful jaw may or may not be related to tonsil. A Dr will help you. ...Read more

Infection, shingles?: This sounds like a skin infection of some sort. It could be a bacterial infection (e.g. staph, strep, etc) but I'm more suspicious of herpes zoster (shingles). See a doctor ASAP. If bacterial, you'll need an antibiotic. If shingles, an antiviral drug (e.g. valacyclovir) needs to be started very soon to have maximum benefit. ...Read more

Possible allergy: If you wear earrings and have this rash you may be allergic to the nickel in the earrings. See a dermatologist or your general doctor who can prescribe a cortisone cream and stop wearing the earrings till the rash has gone away. You may want to go have patch testing done at a dermatologist office to see if you are allergic to nickel. There are earrings made of titanium is rare to be allergic to. ...Read more

More info needed: Have you had any recent viral illness. Often viral illness can be associated with swollen glands. Any swollen glands under your arms or in your groin area? Thyroid issues need to be checked for as well, if you have the area you described as tender. Possible infection: It is possible this represents infection in hand or a skin reaction & contact dermatitis affecting the hand, possibly an insect bite. Viral infection?: All of your symptoms combined are suspicious for a viral infection. Have you been around any sick persons or started any new medicines as of late? The only explanation: I can possibly suggest is greater elevation of blood pressure associated with the High Intensity Interval Training.Sometimes when veins have been engorged due to increased pressure in the vascular system there is the sensation of itchiness;not sure about tenderness.I would consider some heart rate and blood pressure monitoring as you are adding HIIT into your regimen. Dermititiis: You could have eczema, seborrhea, atopic or other form of dandruff. If you scratch it it will tind to worsen and flake as well as get infected. That will cause the swollen lymph node.
