Itchy Swollen Fingers Symptoms
Just this year- starting this summer, actually- just started getting itchy, swollen fingers when exposed to mild cold, like a 50 deg. Steering wheel.
See a doctor: There is something wrong, could be an infection, could be an allergic reaction. If you can't be seen immediately, go to an urgent care center or emergency room. Make sure to take of any and all jewerly from your hand. If you have benedryl, you may want to take one in case its an allergy but get to a doctor....

Fingers are swollen and itchy because of alergy from putting nails. Used citrizine for alergy but its not better? Will ciprofloxacin help swollen fingers

Xerosis or Reynaud's: The cold weather and low humidity removes the moisture barrier from the skin, causing substances to penetrate and cause irritation. Cold weather also may cause vasospsm in the fingers, reducing blood flow, which may result in the same dysfunction. Use moisturizers and gloves, and see your doctor for a complete evaluation.
