I'm using Xulane BC patch & when I take it off it's itchy, sore, red & skin is peeling off. I know I have to go back to pills but how can I heal this?
Scalp has itchy, sore bumps and are very irritating. Haven't noticed any excessive hair loss, but it is discomforting and scalp is sore. Will it heal?

Depends: Your doctor will prescribe the antibiotic you need and the amount of days you need to take it. About 2 weeks: For most infections, antibiotics will clear it in about 2 weeks. However, if you are "colonized" with the staph bacteria, it is possible to keep re-infecting yourself in the same area.
