Itchy Sore Spots On Scalp
I have red spots on my scalp. It isn't itchy or flaky but it is slightly sore. I've never had a problem like this before. What do you think it is?

Rest of the skin in the head like facial skin (beard) has only 2 layers -epidermis and dermis. Scalp has 5 different layers unlike facial skin/rest of skin all over body. Scalp-s-epidermis, c-conn. My scalp is sore only in one spot, it has a yellow fluid oozing out and some red. My neck has a itchy burning rash on the same side?
Shingles?: Please see a doctor. It sounds like you may have shingles, and medicines can reduce symptom duration and prevent complications. You may have a bacterial infection called impetigo. This would require a special prescription ointment. Only a medical provider can tell you for sure.
Dermatitis.: There are many causes for what you describe. You should have this looked at by a physician who can treat you with the appropriat.
There are few red spots on my scalp, which makes my scalp very itchy. How to cure it permanently? Thank you
A few causes: Itchy scalp spots can be many things. I would try some anti-dandruff shampoo 3-5 time per week for a couple weeks, and if that doesn't help, then see a doctor. Sometimes, this kind of problem needs a doctors evaluation. Other things this could be include tinea capitis (fungal infection), psoriasis, discoid lupus, lichen planopilaris, early alopecia areata among many others. Get it checked out.
I have dandruff&get little dried crust bloody spots from itching. I noticed my scalp is itchy+found what looks like 2pimples 2gether with white pus?
See a dermatologist: Meanwhile get in the shower every day with a dandruff shampoo. There are many. Tar, salicylic acid, selenium sulfide, ketoconazole, zinc pyrithione are all useful. You might try to wet your scalp with a few drops of water, then apply a few drops of shampoo and wait a few minutes to hours before your shower. You can rub in some liquid cortisone after.

See dermatologist: This does not represent ms, but certainly could be a reaction to your meds, as some ms drugs can be immunosuppressants and create an infection susceptibility. Have this diagnosed and treated and reassess your current med approach.

Daughter has 8 small spots pink and slightly raised that fade when pressed. Not itchy or sore but seem to have cracking yellowish middles. Pls advise?
Could be molluscum: Molluscum contagiosum is a viral illness that develops small, raised, flesh colored, umbilicated (depressed center) lesoin. These tend to fade after a while. If in a cosmetically unappealing area, cryoablation with the use of liquid nitrogen is anoption. These could also be areas of folliculitis but that would generally be sore when pressed.
My scalp is itchy due to small spots that I have all over my scalp. Some of them are white, some bleed when I take them off. I have had them for 3 years?
Please see a doctor: Sounds like a chronic skin condition and needs an evaluation by a doctor, may be a dermatologist

Very itchy scalp, flaking, red spots from scratching, feels like crawling on head (and body a little). Just started yesterday.
Itchy scalp: Your condition you describe may be head lice. Have someone search your scalp and hair carefully for lice and for eggs called nits glued to hairshaft near scalp. Call your doctor to report your situation and ask how to proceed.

Hello. I have these red spots/ lumps on the top of my inner thigh they have been there for a while. They are sore/ red and sometimes itchy thanks?
Go to see GP: You need to see your gp to get checked. Sounds like it could be enlargement of the lymph nodes on the groin that you described on your question. It could be caused by infection, inflammation, trauma etc from the adjacent area like on the legs, genitalia area etc vs other things like autoimmune etc. Go to see your gp for further eval.
I have a line of spots between my inner lips and outer lips of vagina on both sides. When stretched they turn white. Not sore or itchy. What are they?
Probably Normal: Fordyce spots These are small white or yellow lumps, 1-3mm in diameter on the labia minora. They are painless. They are slightly enlarged sebaceous (oil) glands, completely harmless. They often become more easily seen at puberty and with pregnancy and hormone treatment. They can occur on the penis in men too, but are not transmitted from person to person. These r found in the lining of your mouth.See 1 more doctor answer
