Constant itchy skin all over with no visible rash or known allergy. Tried moisturizers, switching detergents and other remedies. Suggestions?

Doctor can evaluate: A person with itchy skin all over, but no visible rash, can see his primary care doctor to see what the problem could be. If the skin is very dry, itching could result even without an obvious rash. Otherwise, the doctor might look for internal problems that can cause itching, such as drug side effects, liver disease, kidney disease, intestinal parasites, etc... ...Read more

Itchy skin turns into fast spreading rash like bumps when scratched. Both arms and right leg. Do have allergies & asthma. Not on meds for allergies.

Happy to help.: There are a couple of possibilities. First, dermatographism is a condition where scratching or marking the skin causes hives. Second, hives can arise without scratching as well. Antihistamines like Zyrtec/Allegra can help. If this persists, I'd recommend seeing an allergist who can allergy test you and help determine if other conditions are present. ...Read more

Which stds causes itchy skin hive like rash all over body?

Probably no STD: Syphilis can cause a body-wide rash, but not hive-like and usually not itchy. If you think you're at risk for STDs, get tested. But an STD is not a likely cause of this rash. Most rashes like this are due to drug allergy -- which could include an STD drug if you're on treatment. In that case, contact the doctor treating you. Good luck! ...Read more

Itchy skin rash all over body (except for face, neck, palms and soles) for 14 days. NO fever, NO flu-like symptons, NO lymph node. Can it be HIV ARS?

Rash: It sounds more likely that it is an allergic reaction to something. The fact that it is not on the palms and soles of your feet makes other bad things less likely. Skin rashes are hard to diagnose and the diagnosis depends on where the rash is, the color, whether there are blotches, raised bumps and many other things. You can buy benadryl (diphenhydramine) in the pharmacy for itching and if it persists see DR. ...Read more
