Itchy rash on palm: An itch rash on the palmar surface of your hand could be several things. Dyshidrotic exzema, contact dermatitis or an allergic reaction to something are possible causes. A fungal infection is a possibility as well. If it is really itchy it could also be scabies, an infection caused by a mite. See your doc who can help figure it out and get you a cream to relieve the itching. ...Read more

I have dry reddish very itchy skin on both palms and arches of my feet, no where else. Any suggestions ? Have only treated with moisterizers.

It could be...: Athlete's foot. The best otc medication (in my opinion) is lotrimin (clotrimazole) ultra. Dilute vinegar soaks are good as well. Dry the inside of your shoes by placing them up-side down over an air return vent at home overnight. If this doesn't make things better in a couple days, see a podiatrist. ...Read more

Yesterday, i had itchy palms and skin and the situation got worst at night! i was not even able to sleep the previous day.Any advice?

Itchy palms: I'd suggest to avoid scrubbing or washing with soaps for the time being - they could irritate and dry out the skin more. Try some eucerin cream or if no improvement, a very mild Hydrocortisone cream. Try to think if you've had any new irritants to your hands -scented lotions or perfumes, gloves, washing them more often... And try to avoid any triggers. ...Read more

Itchy skin rash all over body (except for face, neck, palms and soles) for 14 days. NO fever, NO flu-like symptons, NO lymph node. Can it be HIV ARS?

Itchy skin rash all over body (except for face, neck, palms and soles) for 14 days. NO fever, NO flu-like symptons, NO lymph node. Can it be HIV ARS?

Rash: It sounds more likely that it is an allergic reaction to something. The fact that it is not on the palms and soles of your feet makes other bad things less likely. Skin rashes are hard to diagnose and the diagnosis depends on where the rash is, the color, whether there are blotches, raised bumps and many other things. You can buy benadryl (diphenhydramine) in the pharmacy for itching and if it persists see DR. ...Read more
