I have had an itchy scalp for a month. More around the nape of head. No lice. I also have small red bumps that are tender to touch. What could or be?

Tonight my scalp suddenly became oily, itchy, burning, flakes, and red bumps. It happened very fast but nothing was near my hair today. Any ideas?
Look at history: You may have symptoms of burning itching, flakes, oily, red bumps today, but it may have been as a result of something that you've been using on your scalp recently.
