I've had an itchy scalp for a week or two. It's not red, I don't have dandruff or a dry scalp, and I don't see any lice. Ddx for an itchy scalp?

Doubt it will work: Active lice lay their eggs at the scalp line. You will see some further out because the hair grows out with the incubating egg attached. You are bound to miss some. Soaking your hair in a pickling vinegar to loosen the attachment and combing the eggs out with a fine nit comb works well Read more
Lice Treatment: Tx of lice requires accurate identification of nits ; lice. A pediculicide is usually used- otc like nix (permethrin) or rid or prescription meds like lindane or malathion. I have bugs in my hair but I haven't had them since I took a lice treatment and their not lice because their bigger... what could they be?

See answer: Best wld be to see a dermatologist who can examine you and be able to give u proper treatment. If u still want to try a home remedy use white vinegar daily on ur scalp and have head bath after 10-15 minutes.
