Most bumps and blotches on a newborn baby are harmless and clear up by themselves. By far the most common skin problem in infants is diaper rash. Diaper rash is an irritation of the skin caused by dampness, urine, or feces. Most babies who wear diapers will have some type of diaper rash. However, there are other skin disorders that can cause rashes. These are usually not serious unless ...Read more
Hypochondriac with rash from clindamycin dr said it's a drug rash but I didn't mention a sore in mouth below molar scared of Stevens-Johnson syndrome?
Hypochondriasis...: ...takes a lot of our time. Hi. I sympathize, and I'm not blaming, but hypochondriasis hurts everyone, but most of all, the hypochondriac. A sore in your mouth IS NOT S-J SYNDROME! ...Read more
I have an itchy rash all over my body except my face for a week. Had blood test done to see my white cell count. No fever, but upset tummy and fatigue?
Not enough info: A detailed history and visualization of your skin rashes are needed for proper diagnosis and treatment. By your description, it looks like your skin rashes were there for sometimes but i don't have info on how long the other symptoms are. Those might associate or are different entities and have different diagnosis and treatment. You should make an appointment to see a doctor for proper care. ...Read more

I have blood and mucus in stool, bloating, mouth sores and an itchy rash on my elbows. Are these related? What could it mean?
They may be related: This sounds as if you should be seen by a GI doctor and evaluated in detail as you may be having the onset of an inflammatory bowel condition, and these can also present with skin and mucous membrane findings. 15mt ago itchy rash on legs.Full body 3mt later.4docs/many meds/biopsies/blood test=nothin.Wondring if wheat/gluten allergy? Suddenly start at age 42?
What did the Dr say?: Forget about wheat allergy or gluten sensitivity. Dermatologist among "4 docs"? "Many meds" means nothing unless you name them. What was found on biopsies? Blood tests? This has no meaning without revealing what tests and what readings. This may be serious or, at least, very debilitating. You will get nowhere on the internet. Suggest you try to get to dermatology at nearest medical school. ...Read more

Red Itchy rash that turned dark no other symptoms but fatigue have been on him for 2 weeks now WBC was high could this be mold realted?
Tick-Born Illness?: I will presume that 'on him' should read 'on abx' for 2 weeks. It sounds as though the treating clinician may have suspected a tick-born source of your rash in the setting of fatigue and prescribed a prolonged course of antibiotics to treat. Mold allergy (any allergy) can cause a variety of symptoms, including rash, but treatment for mold would not require antibiotics. ...Read more
