Itchy Rash On The Skin Symptoms
I'm not showing symptoms of BV or yeast inf, but everytime I have sex my partner gets an itchy rash on shaft & skin. What is it & how do u treat it?
Dermatitis: Is he using a condom? It could be a latex allergy. Are you using a lubricant? It could be an irritant dermatitis due to this. Sometimes, the seminal fluids can be irritating on their own, so maybe he is reacting to your seminal fluid. He can try a condom, if he hasn't been using one, and see if the reaction gets, better, worse, or the same. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

Ive developed a small red itchy rash on both cornesr of my eyelids. My eyebrows sometimes itch as well. I have VERY sensitive skin, what should I do?
Sounds like eczema: I'd start with hydrocortisone to the affected areas twice a day. You can get the OTC 1% ointment at any pharmacy or market. The key is to apply once after a 10-15 minute shower, and a separate time later in the day. A moisturizer can also help. Vanicream, Eucerin, Cetaphil...these are all good options for a moisturizer. It can go on separately from the medication. This should help! ...Read more
Can hydrocortizone 1% cream be applied for fading of non-itchy rash on leg which is pityriasis rosea herald patch, on skin for almost 2 months, ?
Doubtful: Hydrocortisone is helpful for itchy or inflamed rashes. We believe that pityriasis is caused by a virus and not inflammatory. I would expect a herald patch to be accompanied by others by now. You should consider that this might be another cause such as eczema or lupus. I would recommend an examination. ...Read more
