See answer : A yeast (candida) or fungal infection is likely the most common cause of a reddened, itchy scrotum which should respond to keeping it clean, dry and an antifungal cream. A contact dermatitis which is an irritation from an allergen is also common and may be from: changes in clothing material, soap, fabric softener, or any chemical. Responds best to steroid cream. I have an itchy rash on my scrotum, between all fingers, and a red patch at the corner of my mouth. I have been using anti-fungal cream and gold bond.

Scabes?: The fingers and groin are a common place for scabies rash, which would not be helped by either treatment you are using. The mouth rash is likely coincidental. You should see you your doc for a full exam and treatment. Good luck! ...Read more

Hello doc. I have develop few purplish to dark red itchy rashes on my scrotum. These becomes severe itchy when I work out or on sweating. I get good results on washing with Hydrogen Peroxide. But they donot go away completely. I am 32.

May be fungal/yeast: infection on the skin of the scrotum. The groin area is a common place that fungal infections occur. The fungus tends to grow well on areas that are warm and moist, and often itch worse when the area become more warm and moist (eg. when working out and/or sweating).
