Itchy Rash On Legs During Pregnancy
I have a itchy rash on my legs, developed early pregnancy and hasn't gone away. Tried fungal creams, and neosporin no help. Dial soap makes much worse?
When your due date arrives, you will be more than ready to have your baby! Most women deliver the baby somewhere between 37 and 42 weeks. According to the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, only 5% of babies arrive on the exact due date. Approximately 7% of babies are not delivered by 42 weeks, and when that happens, it is referred to ...Read more
Scabies gets worse: Scabies is a mite infestation, so without treatment it will get worse and worse. It is extremely itchy, and often the bumps will bleed from all the scratching. Usually a pregnancy-related rash will not be so severe nor gradually worsen over time. Also, scabies is contagious; pregnancy obviously is not. ...Read more

Is severely itchy skin, especially hands and feet during the night with no rash a normal sign in late pregnancy?
See a dermatologist: It is difficult to make a proper diagnosis since I am not there to see the condition. I recommend seeing a dermatologist so that they can make a proper diagnosis and give you something to get rid of the condition or relieve symptoms. ...Read more
I have a very itchy rash on legs and arms. Raised bumps which scab over due to scratching. I've recently travelled to the us (stayed in hotels).
15mt ago itchy rash on legs.Full body 3mt later.4docs/many meds/biopsies/blood test=nothin.Wondring if wheat/gluten allergy? Suddenly start at age 42?
What did the Dr say?: Forget about wheat allergy or gluten sensitivity. Dermatologist among "4 docs"? "Many meds" means nothing unless you name them. What was found on biopsies? Blood tests? This has no meaning without revealing what tests and what readings. This may be serious or, at least, very debilitating. You will get nowhere on the internet. Suggest you try to get to dermatology at nearest medical school. ...Read more
Red, flaky, itchy rash on both lower legs. I'm guessing it's eczma. Is there any effective home remedies?
Can hydrocortizone 1% cream be applied for fading of non-itchy rash on leg which is pityriasis rosea herald patch, on skin for almost 2 months, ?
Doubtful: Hydrocortisone is helpful for itchy or inflamed rashes. We believe that pityriasis is caused by a virus and not inflammatory. I would expect a herald patch to be accompanied by others by now. You should consider that this might be another cause such as eczema or lupus. I would recommend an examination. ...Read more
A red itchy rash on the inner side of my leg near the groin area for over 1 month. it decreases when i take anti biotics. i want a permanent solution?
Erythrasma: I assume you used actual antibiotics and not antifungals . You could have Erythrasma which is a bacterial infection that just like fungus affects areas of moist skin. The rash may have well defined borders and may become brownish. Topical and sometimes oral antibiotics are necessary. Keeping the area dry is the way to prevent this. Check that you are in good health for example no diabetes ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
Several causes: A non-itchy rash that stays for a long while may have several different causes, ranging from mild to more serious. Without a detailed description of the lesions, i would not even try to suggest a cause. See an internist first. Don't try to treat it y ourself. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

Numbness with rash: the itching and rash with numbness may or may not be related. sometimes due to nerve pathways, we perceive sensations like itching as numbness, but not usually. if the rash does not go away with an over the counter steroid cream and the numbness persists, you must see your doctor as numbness is unusual in this setting. ...Read more
I have derm appt - but in mean time I have red bumpy ITCHY rash on part of lower right leg. It's now started on left. What could this be?!
Could be minor...: Dermatology is all about appearance. I am guessing it is an erythematous papule ("red bumpy"), which honestly could be an insect bite, or contact dermatitis, both of which are common. However you mention pregnancy; there is a condition called PUPPP: Pruritic urticarial papules and plaques of pregnancy, which are terribly itchy red bumps! See what the dermatologist thinks! ...Read more
Need a picture: Rashes are tough to diagnose with just limited description. Often even with pictures and biopsies rashes can go undiagnosed. It is important to see the rash and get a thorough history including new contacts, foods and medications taken as well as pattern of spread to get an accurate diagnosis. I would get seen if this rash is spreading and causing discomfort. ...Read more
