Eczema or psoriasis: If it is on the outside, or tip of the elbow, it is more likely to be psoriasis. If it is on the inside of the elbow it is more likely to be eczema. Lupus flare: The symptoms you are describing sound pretty severe. The rash on the elbows and knees is consistent with psoriasiform lupus and I am concerned about your back pain which could be related to pancreatitis. See below: If it is truly related to the codeine, stop the codeine. Then Benadryl (diphenhydramine) - likely 25 - 50 mg every 6 hours as needed. Hydrocortisone .1% to especially inflamed areas may help.
