Itchy Rash On Chin
I have this red, lumpy, flakey and itchy rash on my chin for nearly 3wks. Pretty sure it is ezcema, I am using DermAid cream on it and it's not workin?
Irritant?: If you live in an arid area, it may be from dry skin. This causes itching and your constant rubbing and peeling of the scales (I just presume) just perpetuate it. Try some Hydrocortisone cream on it for a few days then apply moisturizer on area after washing your face regularly thereafter. Let me know if this works for you If you were a man , I would have guess allergic reaction to aftershave. ...Read more

Not Differin (adapalene): If it happened after you stopped the differin (adapalene) then i would not think it the cause. Contact dermatitis sis possible as is folliculitis and some other conditions. Seeing a dermatologist will help clarify what is actually the diagnosis and which treatment would be best. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
I am taking lamictal, just started at 50 mg/day. Today, i noticed an itchy bumpy rash on my chin and it is spreading up my cheek. My lymph nodes are also swollen. I sad a sorethroat/dry eyes last week. What should I do?
How do I know if I have eczema, psoriasis or dermatitis? I have had itchy, scaley rashes around my nose, chin, buttocks and even groin. Help!
Two separate issues?: Itchy rashes are usually allergic reactions, but sometimes are from skin infections. People who have a history of eczema can have itchy rashes appear off and on. Under the chin, there can be swollen lymph nodes ("swollen glands") or swollen saliva glands. Sometimes there are skin infections like folliculitis, shingles, pimples, impetigo, etc... A doctor can evaluate to see what it all might be. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

May be fungus/yeast: It is very difficult to diagnose any kind of rash in genital area without looking at it. My guess is that it is a fungus or yeast infection. Try any antifungal like Monistat-derm. Follow the directions of using it properly and if not better in a week, see a Dermatologist if you can or see a family doctor. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
