2 swollen lymph nodes behind ear. Extremely tired, itchy little bumps and a line of bruises? Anything to worry about?
I have an itchy scalp and a large red itchy patch on my forehead. I also have swollen lymph nodes around my ear. I got my hair done last Wednesday.
If ALL the symptoms are on SAME side of your head and don't cross the midline then I'm worried about shingles which can later become painful. Starting treatment right away is critical
A chemical allergic reaction is also possible especially if your hair was dyed and should have it looked at. ...Read more

See a physician: Nothing against chiropractors but the rash and lymph nodes are not in their field of expertise and should be evaluated by a physician. Could be just soft tissue injury or maybe a small fracture. Please see a md for evaluation. ...Read more

I have swollen lymph nodes on the side of my neck and behind ear. Some of them hurt. I have had them for a month. Is this serious?
Likely benign, but: The neck is a very common place for mild lymph node enlargements. We do about 5-6 lymph node biopsies a day-from the neck-and most of them are benign. However, if rapid growth is noted, or if bigger than 3cm, or if other symptoms develop you need to have it checked. I have two swollen lymph nodes that I've had for years. Recently I've had unbearably itchy skin. Also, anemic. Could this be due to lymphoma?
It's possible. : Lymphoma can cause lymph node swelling, itching, and anemia. But so can many other things. Anemia is common in women who are menstruating. Itchy skin is common and can be due to dry skin, allergies, kidney problems or liver problems. And swollen lymph nodes that have not changed for years are not likely to be lymphoma. So you're probably fine, but see a doc to be sure! And try not to worry. ...Read more
