I have been coming up in itchy raised bumps on my skin, i've not changed my diet and i'm not allergic to anything that i'm aware of. What could it be?

This type of rash can be brought on by recent viral infections, food ingestion or drug ingestion. Sudden itchy red raised bumps all over face. They disappear after a few hours or so. This occurs once in a blue moon but definitely not a 1 time thing?
