Folliculitis?: Herpes typically presents as a cluster of vesicles (filled with clear fluid that eventually scab over). A first episode can be more extensive and sore, but thighs and belly button sounds more like folliculitis. Folliculitis is a bacterial infection of the follicles. Fleas: Where are you when you get bit. It could be fleas or possibly bed bugs. If you are in your bed when this occurs try washing your bed clothes and treating your room for insects. Not everyone is allergic to fleas but if you are they could cause the symptoms you are describing. ...Read more

Your Dermatologist: May be "clueless" but a PODIATRIST may not be! Sounds like one of your feet is getting irritated by your running shoe! This can be ONE FOOT ONLY!!!!!! Check it out with a good Podiatrist!
