Itchy Lung Sensation
What are some causes for symptoms of itchy lungs/rib cage sensation on the inside?? Not external : (I noticed that it only happens when I have the flu
Allergies/reaction: This sensation of itchiness can be caused by allergies. If it is only happening when you have the flu then it is probably caused by your bodies reaction to the infection. When we get infected our immune system sends out cells that release substances to rid us of the infection. Sometimes these substances cause inflammation and itchiness as part of the healing process.
Deoxygenated blood enters the lungs from the right side of the heart and travels to the lungs. When you inspire, oxygen flows into the lungs, transverses the capilliares and attaches to hemoglobin down a gradient. At the same time, co2 diffuses into the capilaries and is expelled with exhalation. Oxygen rich blood then flows to the left side of the heart and into the ...Read more

Iam starting to cough and feel itchy inside my lungs could I take antiasthma medicine since thebstmptoms are the same of asthma?
How is dry cough? I have an itchy feeling in my breathing pipe near my lungs and it forced me to cough 5 or 6 times a day, should I worry?
Maybe: Cough is a reflex mechanism that aids your immune system to get rid of any possible "pathogens" that can affect your immune system. Most coughing stops after 7-14 days. If it persists you need to get evaluated. If you are very worried then make an appointment sooner. Good luck. Most common causes include asthma, reflux, allergies, postnasal drip and medications.
Hello I have been having a itchy feeling in my lungs when I breathe and I am a little bit on edge about it im also a smoker which is making me anxious?
QUIT!!!: Quit now. Meds may help. Go to hypnosis every day for as many times as it takes, even if 10 or 20 times. The longer you delay the greater the risk of tragic damage. See your Dr. Whatever it takes. There is nothing more important today. Do it now. No excuses.
Hi, I just got over a flu/cold and my lungs have been so itch before and after I was sick. Any reason why my lungs are so itchy. I'm on an inhaler now.
Possible asthma: You may benefit from pulmonary function testing and a short burst of steroid therapy if you are asthmatic. Please contact your prescribing physician.
Hello im 20 anf for the last 2 minths or so I have had a light itchy feeling on my right lung and it seems like that lung produces more mucus (smoker?
Not sure what you: Are really feeling, since we don't feel "itching" in a lung, but on the skin or tissues right under the skin. If you are having sensations on your right chest when you cough, you may think the mucus is coming from the right lung, but there is no way to know that. If you are coughing and bringing up a lot of phlegm, it is likely from smoking, but only an examination can rule out infection etc.
I have terrible chest congestion with a itchy cough in my lungs. I am on a z-pac. How long does it usually take to clear up?
Doctor can re-check: After starting antibiotics, things should be better each day after the first 2 days. Otherwise, the doctor can re-check to see if a different antibiotic or a longer course of antibiotics is needed. Sometimes asthma meds such as inhalers and anti-inflammatories like singulair (montelukast) or Prednisone are also needed. If doing well, a mild residual cough can be around for a couple of weeks, improving daily.

I have an itchy feeling at the end of my throat (or beginning of my lungs) for 4 months and it made me cough (dry), what can it be? Drs say allergy.
My right lung start itchy feeling. I kept wild deer mouse 6weeks as pet. Back, shoulder pain and some headache. No fever. Allergic reaction?
Deer mouse diseases: Allergies make you itch but do not usually cause back pain, shoulder pain or headache. I'm not sure what you mean by saying your lung itches. The deer mouse can carry a very dangerous virus, called hantavirus, and also other diseases, called ehrlichiosis and babesiosis, and possibly lyme disease. You should see a doctor asap. Http://en. I'm finding it impossible to live with a fragrance allergy. It's everywhere itchy throat lungs rashes. What can I do?
Fragrance allergy: There's no such thing per se, you have chronic inflammation of your airways, be it due to allergy or not, yet to be known, fragrances just irritate the already inflammed lining of the airways causing those symptoms you suffer from, your best bet is to see an allergist, check aaaai. Org or acaai. Org for an allergist in your area, good luck,
