Itchy Inner Thighs And Diabetes
I am breaking out with itchy bumps on my upper thigh that is now spreading to my side and the back of my legs. I have diabetes. Would that contribute?
Many possibilities: There are many things that could cause the skin to itch. Several types of inflammatory conditions of the skin, allergic reactions, sun exposure, insect bites, and sometimes bacterial, viral or fungal infections can cause rashes on the skin. Have it evaluated by a professional and get the appropriate treatment.See 1 more doctor answer
Depends on: The cause. If it is a lot the it could me yeast, dry skin or eczema. If hot and localized more likely infection. Doesn't sound like that. It's really hard to give advice on a rash can't see. Could try Hydrocortisone cream from the store. If it's yeast it either won't help or will get worse. Of you are a guy and it is like jock itch try lamasil twice a day, especially if you sweat. Might need md.See 1 more doctor answer
Could be "Jock Itch": Treat with antifungal.Get a more detailed answer ›
My inner upper thighs are itchy and have bumps on them and scratching makes it worse...what can it be?
The inner area around my thighs and all the way back to the anus is itchy and slightly reddish. What is that?
Consider your skin: If this persists it should be examined by your doctor. The most common causes would be irritation, contact with something you are allergic to, or hair follicles that are inflamed or infected. The swelling may suggest deeper tissue involvement such as spread of infection or trauma from scratching. If the thigh feels hot, becomes hot or red, seek medical attention sooner rather than later!See 1 more doctor answer
See a dermatologist: It is difficult to make a proper diagnosis since I am not there to see the condition. I recommend seeing a dermatologist so that they can make a proper diagnosis and give you something to get rid of the condition or relieve symptoms.
Dermatitis: You probably have some type of dermatitis. You should see your dermatologist for treatment and evaluation.
Several things: Your doctor needs to examine these in person to he/she can see them live.
Folliculitis?: Could be inflammed hair follicles. However it is impossible to give exact answer from brief des ription. A trial of acne cream in one area may help. If persists see md. 5 months is long enough to wait for it to go away.
Itchy flesh coloured of clustered bumps at my right inner thigh. Its been a month. What is causes it???
Bumps: This can't be diagnosed with the information that is available. A history, physical examination & other studies may be needed to determine cause/causes. Once accurately assessed a treatment plan can be developed.
Many things: This time of year if the itchy bumps are just on your inner thigh it could be heat rash. Make sure to shower well with soap after being outside. If the rash persists see a doctor.
Depends: Are you male or female, and how high up the thigh?
Intertrigo: The two prescriptions that are effective for intertrigo are alcortin a and vytone cream 1%. See you doctor for a prescription.See 1 more doctor answer
