Have your PCP look: at it to determine what types of scales, or flakes or dandruff yours scalp is producing? Also, refrain from using harsh shampoos, conditioners, treatments on your scalp that could be irritating it, and/or color dyes, and other harsh chemicals that could be irritating your scalp. If you don't get anywhere with your PCP, then seek a dermatologist, who can help you. Also, changing your diet can help! ...Read more

Dry/Itchy Scalp: Are you showering at night and using something at night? Hair sprays, gels, perfumes, etc.. can all have drying effects on the scalp and make it worse. You need a hydrating/moisturizing shampoo that is fragrance-free and dye-free. You might even want to consider using Moroccan Oil every other day shower. My head has been itchy for a couple weeks i went without product in my hair and tried different shampoo nothing helps and its not lice.
