Seborrheic Dermatiti: Most likely you have seborrheic dermatitis. This is ususally treated with tar shampoos or shampoos with antifungal properties. Otc blue selsun type shampoos help this. Denorex type shampoos help. Sometimes steroid foams may be needed in difficult cases. If severe or can't control, see your pcp for a prescription formulaiton or see dermatologist. I'm not 100% clear ?: on what it is that you would like to know, but I think you are concerned that your itching and back pain are potentially related to hypothyroidism. That is a legitimate concern if your hair is especially thin and brittle, if you have very dry skin, and if your depressive symptoms have worsened despite medication. Sounds like sinus: problem but occasionally migraines can act this way. You are pregnant and on steroids (for?) so you could be susceptible to certain types of infections. You can safely use saline nasal spray and a mild decongestant nasal spray if needed, inhale warmed humidified air (put towel over your head over sink), but see doc if you get any rash in your facial area, a fever, or drainage yellow/green. ...Read more

Unknown: From your description it is unclear. You neglected to mention how dark your complexion is. If you are scratching these areas a lot, this could cause darkening.
