Dyshidrotic eczema: Try Benadryl (diphenhydramine) or Claritin for itching and vaseline ointment with cotton gloves over the hands and socks on the feet overnight. PUPPPS: Could also be Puritic Urticarial Papules and Plaques of Pregnancy, also known as PUPPPS. It is a condition of the skin that can happen during pregnancy causing itching and skin rash. Likely nothing : Itchy hands later in pregnancy can be a sign of cholestasis. I've never heard if it this early in pregnancy however. Speak with your doctor about it. In the meantime, consider some Benadryl (diphenhydramine) to see if that alleviates it. 25 mg is a good dose to start. ...Read more
