See PCP: See your primary care doctor first. Some PCP's will not do pelvic exams so check with yours to see if you should see a GYN doc instead. If you normally see a GYN for pelvic exams go there. Health departments can sometimes evaluate and treat for pelvic infections/problems.

Keep Dry: Skin irritation from moisture is a most common problem. Wearing cotton or moisture wicking fabrics can help. Be sure you have no fungal, bacterial or parasitic infection though. Also be sure you have no allergic or contact irritation from underwear dyes or from laundry detergents. Hope that helps.
Possible fungus: Tinea cruris, a fungus, is perhaps the most common cause of a rash called "jock itch". Although it can be treated with an antifungal cream alone, often the most rapid relief is obtained by using a combination antifungal and steroid cream (Lotrisone); it's also available in the generic version; apply it sparingly twice daily for several days until the rash is gone.

Different options: That area has a lot of things in it both in the skin and below it. Sweat glands, hair follicles and skin cysts as well as lymph nodes, fatty tissue, vessels, muscles and other things. Each of these (and many more) will provide your doc the answers as to what it is and what needs to be done.
This needs to: Be visualized/ examined in order to properly assess.
Possibly: This is one of those problems where a visit to your doctor is necessary to figure out what's going on. Only after a thorough evaluation, including examination and possibly labs and other tests, can your doctor correctly diagnose you and treat you effectively.
Prediabetes: I have never fully understood "prediabetes" - either you have diabetes or your don't. If you have time please have your doctor refer you to a dietitian who will help you avoid diabetes in future.
Possible feet: If definite fungal the possibility of having fungal growth on feet if that is case check out and in any case I would put on socks before you put on your underpants as this gets the fungus on the pants bringing it to the groin hope this helps.

Don't panic.: Nothing makes people more nervous than a rash in the genital area. It could be anything from jock itch to an allergy to something you applied in that area to, yes, something you caught from intimate contact. Put your mind at ease by seeing your doctor and getting it sorted out. You can try otc Hydrocortisone cream first if you wish, but if that doesn't work, see your doc or a dermatologist.
