You could but..: a better choice might be diphenhydramine (Benadryl) but the cetirizine is less likely to make you drowsy so you can start with that and if it doesn't work try the diphenhydramine. You can also try 1% hydrocortisone cream that you can get at the store on the rash to see if that alleviates the itching and the spread of the rash. ...Read more

Need eval: Sorry but for skin issues we really need to see them, feel them and possibly biopsy them in order to make an appropriate diagnosis and prescribe proper treatment.
