Fungal?: I wonder if you have a fungal infection of the skin inside your ear, called Otomycosis. The other option would be more like an eczema of the ear canal but this would not often be moist. Otitis externa is a: likely diagnosis with a story like that. Otitis can become quite serious relatively quickly. See your primary MD or urgent clinic for evaluation. See your doctor: Its impossible for us to tell what's going on without a physical exam. I'd see your doctor to have a look. Amongst other things - it could be an otic infection, impaction or foreign body which has become lodged in there. I'd suggest not using the Q-Tips as this might only exacerbate any problem.
