I noticed a small bump behind my left ear 3 weeks ago. Since I have another on crown of head and forehead. Should i be concerned? What are they?
Possible concern: The lump behind the ear is probably a lymph node which drains inflammation from the ear and scalp above it. So it's possible the things on scalp and forehead are foci of infection/ inflammation draining to the ear. Worst case is that the scalp is a skin cancer draining to the ear. Alopecia vs fungus: Child probably is developing alopecia. It would be important also to rule out a fungal infection of the scalp.
