This is difficult: to diagnose here without seeing the rash. Did you have any new exposures to foods, soaps, shampoos, medications? Are you sick with a fever or other symptoms? A cortisone cream might help, but it would be best to see your doctor or a dermatologist to be properly diagnosed and treated. Hope it's better soon. Itchy red bumps: Rashes that are red, itchy, raised and spread can be hives (urticaria) although it is easier to view them directly. It can be helpful to take a photo (to document), not all the circumstances surrounding onset of rash (diet, exercise, medications, stings/bites, fever, other symptoms, etc) to try to pinpoint trigger.
