Anal Fissure: What you described suggest anal fissure. It would help to keep your stool soft to give the tears time to heal. Use a fiber laxative like Metamucil and drink enough water so that your urine is colorless. If it does not get better in three months after having consistently soft stools it would be time to see a doctor. For good health - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, low fat milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats.
