As long as it's open: & not anymore than an uncovered blister, it will heal. Keep it clean, wash (scrub) it 3-4 times a day. That will get the crud off the top, may not feel good but unroofing it is good. Then if available to you cover with Silvadine cream, if not an antibiotic ointment. Basic Care: The real question is what not to do that slows down healing. Avoid using alcohol, peroxide, hibiclens, betadine, and bleach solutions. Inflammation ( red, hot, swollen, tender) is important to healing so anti-inflammatories (motrin, advil) are bad.
