Itching On Palms Of Hands
Many possibilities: There are many things that could cause the skin to itch. Several types of inflammatory conditions of the skin, allergic reactions, sun exposure, insect bites, and sometimes bacterial, viral or fungal infections can cause rashes on the skin. Have it evaluated by a professional and get the appropriate treatment.
What could possibly cause sudden intense itching of palms of hands, feet, redness around mouth, and rash on back and stomach within 30 minutes?
Itchying and rash: This sounds like an allergy to something - perhaps you ate something that you have an allergy to. Have you taken a Bendaryl or called or seen a doctor?

Pruritis: "Pruritis" of feeling itchy can be secondary to local irritants. The fact that is happens at night can sometimes mean you have an abnormality with your blood tests. Alternatively, liver problems may sometimes manifest as itching. See your doctor for a proper evaluation.
Cholestasis: If you are in your third trimester and itch all over, including the palms and soles it may me cholestasis. Talk to your doctor and if that diagnosis is right there are medicines to decrease the serum bile acid levels, ease the itching, and the diagnosis is something your doctor needs to ge aware of.

Hi, I have had the swelling on the back of hand not palm for 3 days now, and it itches occasionally?
Hand swelling: Hand swelling not due to injury or an insect bite and with associated itching suggests angioedema which is an allergic reaction. However this type of swelling generally subsides after 24 hours or so. For this reason I feel an insect bite is more likely in your case. If the hand swelling persists, becomes painful or develops redness, have a physician examine you for diagnosis and treatment.

My left hand in the palm has been sore for a couple days especially when I stretch it. Today a small bump appeared. It's not a bug bite but it itches?
Bump on palm: Hard to say for sure without an exam, but ganglion cysts feel like little bumps underneath the skin and sometimes they can be sore. If it's on the surface of the skin (you can see it with your eyes), it could be an inflammatory reaction to something - a bug bite, trauma, or something else entirely. Hydrocortisone cream can work well for itchy spots, and if not improving, get it checked out!

On my thumb around my fingernail it hurts and in the palm of my hand it itches sometimes even burn what can it be doc?
Thumb pain: If there is associated redness around the thumb nail an infection called paranychia appears likely. Treat with warm soaks but if redness worsens some pus may have to be drained by a surgeon. The itchy or burning sensation in the palm is probably unrelated and if there is no associated rash, irritable superficial nerve endings, possibly from some activities, may be the cause.

Help my itching hands recently, (in past wk.) I have developed severly itchy hands. The area that itches is between the thumb and first finger, in the web area, and in the meat of the thumb on the palm side. I have tried soaking them in epsom salt, hydro.
You: You may be dealing with a fungal infection. Try an over the counter anti-fungal cream like clotrimazole; you can apply the cream twice a day for a week. If you do not notice an improvement then it may just be a dermatitis and you may need a stronger steroid cream. At this point you would need to be evaluated by your doctor for diagnosis and treatment. Good luck.
