Doctor insights on:
Hurt ITB (partial splits, weight went on it while I fell). Can walk, just hurts after. Any risks carrying weights in the gym to work out upper body?
None I can think of!:
As long as you can do activities within limits of discomfort, which you can easily tolerate, & the discomfort/pain is not getting worse, in the knee, then you can continue to move your knee joint as well. Certainly no harm in doing upper body workouts.
If getting worse, see your orthopod.
Good Luck. ...Read more
I'm confused re.:: Not sure why you are asking question, as use of a Baclofen pump certainly does not require fasting. Hard to know: It may or may not have had something to do with the burger, in which case it was either something foreign in the burger which irritated your stomach or an infection which was separate and distinct from that. In either event this is not likely to last beyond 24 hrs. Hope you are better soon. ...Read more
I am a runner, and have some knee pain. I think it might be ITB. The pain is on the outside of my knee and hurts most after a run when my knee is bent slightly. And it gets better when I don't run, but hurts when I run again. Thank you, any advice?
Runners Knee Pain: Most likely you have some inflammation of the tissue around your knee or where the tissues attach to the bone. You should focus on stretching your hamstrings and IT band before and after running. Massage the area with a block of ice, and consider the use of a foam roller. Over the counter anti inflammation medication may help. If this does not help you should see an orthopedist and a PT ...Read more

Pes anserine bursiti: See a Rheumatologist or a good Internist to get a 2nd opinion / accurate diagnosis. I'm not sure who ordered the MRI, but take a copy of the PICTURES (not the report) with you when you go. If you are confused, chances are that (1) doctor is confused as well, or (2) doc didn't explain it well enough. You should be comfortable w/ diagnosis & treatment plan before proceeding. Male breast: Lesion. If it was ultra sounded two years ago and diagnosed as a lipoma, it may or may not still be a lipoma now. Regardless it is painful, that is a criteria for removal. I would see his doctor and get a referral to a surgeon to get it removed. This is a fairly straight foreword procedure. It will stop the pain, get the lesion out, and send it to pathology to make sure it is nothing else. ...Read more
