It Feels Like My Feet Are On Fire
Have foot pain that makes it seem like the bottom of both feet are on fire. Also, some pain in my right heel. Have had foot pain, but never this much?
The top of my foot feels like it's brused & on fire but it looks normal, what could be the problem?
Nerve compression: This is most likely due to a pinched nerve in the top of the foot that may be due to tying the laces too tight on your shoes, or possible repetitive trauma to the top of the foot from kicking a soccer ball, etc.. Feet: Different things can be reason for that. Commonly could be due to Neuropathy-nerve problems which could be due to diabetes, nerves problems at the back. The bottoms of my feet often feel like they're on fire. I don't have diabetes...Am told it's a neuroma. What can I do besides soaking in cold water?
Meds, surgery: You can consider a minor surgery to remove a neuroma. It would be a little more rare to have neuromas on both feet but this does happen. You could have neuropathy from a number of issues other than diabetes and you should discuss the multitude of things that can cause neuropathies with your doc.
