Can there be any side effects of alcohol against protein powder?

No: There are no direct interactions between alcohol and protein powder, but it doesn't sound like a very palatable cocktail. :-) also if you have liver failure from drinking too much alcohol, you need to be careful about the amount of protein you consume.

Gain muscle?: Do you want to gain muscle or gain fat or a reasonable amount of both? Protein powder isn't the answer. You need to take in more calories than presently and I suggest it from healthy foods, like nuts- whole grains etc- you also need to challenge your body to increase the muscle through exercise- resistance training.

Are there any side effects to taking whey protein powder? I'm about to start taking it and am wondering if there are any adverse effects?

Whey protein powder: Contains very little lactose and so many lactose intolerant folks can use it w/out issue. If you can't, there are lactose free whey protein powders on the market. Make sure it is from free range cattle rather than cows penned up and fed hormones and antibiotics. Peace and good health.

Protein powders: The problem with all these protein powder is that we don't know the long term effects on the body of a growing individual. You might grow 1/4 of an inch more at the expense of going into liver or kidney failure. Do you think its worth it?

I take 1scoop/30g of Isowhay protein powder after working out 4 times per week, is it bad for my health? Does isowhay proteine shake have side efects?

Need more info: The 30 grams of protein should be no problem if you have normal kidney and liver function. In order to know if the shake has side effects it would be necessary to know what are the ingredients. Some shakes add caffeine or other stimulants which can cause anxiety, insomnia, tremor and a rapid or irregular heart beat

Is there any side effect of using protein powder, such as kidney damage?

Yes: Protein powder may cause kidney damage and acute renal failure. There are no good studies done in persons using protein powders that I know of. However, I have seen acute kidney failure in a 23 year old very healthy man who used them. He recovered with no other treatment besides stopping protein powder. Would not use them! Eat a balanced diet and may do short term high protein natural diet.

Are protein powder are safe for bodybuilders and which protein powder or weight gainer is good without any side effect?

Are protein powder are safe for bodybuilders and which protein powder or weight gainer is good without any side effect?

In moderation: High dietary protein intake, due to its acid-producing load, increases urinary calcium excretion (with potential risk for bone loss and calcium stone formation if you eat 0.8 g/kg, kg not lbs). You can take between 0.64 -. 82g/lb if your bodybuilding, but there hasn’t been any recorded advantage of consuming more than 0.64g/lb and you can get the risk that I stated above once

I want to workout nd have creatine nd whey protein. What r the side effects?

Stay hydrated: A danger of creatine is kidney failure. Do not take more than directed and do not take the loading dose for a prolonged period. Stay hydrated! Some baseball players were hospitalized from excess creatine use causing renal shutdown. Whey protein is generally safe but excess protein is also hard on the kidneys. Again drink plenty of water.
