Depends on the: Natural muscle relaxant. If you are working out to build muscle, then i would not, as muscle relaxants can decrease post workout muscle metabolism mildly and hypothetically lead to less bulk. I don't know if i totally agree with that, but I have heard other hypothesize that. If your muscles are too sore right after, than you may be working them too hard. Not much is known...: What to eat before and after a workout is a common question. There isn't a lot of medical research out there but a recent study found that after a long or hard workout, the best "post workout" meal is 2% chocolate milk.
