Sorta.: Side effects are that it is going to burn off the wart. Local irritation and some pain are sorta guaranteed. Other options of surgical removal or doctor done freezing and removal are not going to be less traumatic. Waiting and seeing if they go away are one option. Don't recommend it: That terrible ulcer is likely to feel better when you put salicylate (wart remover) on it, but will likely make thing much, much worse since the ulcer may be a herpes reactivation to due the virus perceiving stress. Avoid placing sour agents on it like salicylates, citrus, acidic, spicey foods which will irritate the sore. Try using tepid salty water and gargle twice a day with it. ...Read more
