Likely no: That exercise certainly won't help you become pregnant. I would recommend against that the night of your iui. The night before is likely ok. In general exercise is good and certainly safe in pregnancy. But around treatment I would recommend more relaxation. ...Read more

See below: It sounds like your deconditioned. That's a fairly average speed for light running or fast walking and no incline. However, as long as you're able to do it without severe shortness of breath, chest pain, or dizziness, then it's fine. After some time of training like this, your heart rate won't jump that high. First: First you need to be congratulated on your amazing accomplishment. My first bit of advise is that you should definitely meet with a nutritionist to come up with a workable long term plan. Eating 1 meal a day sets you up for weight regain, because your metabolic rate has likely been turned down greatly. As far as your attempts at "spot" training in the gym with goals of weight loss in one specific area of your body, this simply is a myth that doesn't work. Don't be discouraged, no human body is able to lose weight in one specific area. This is usually an "all or none" phenomenon. As you lose fat, it will disappear everywhere, but at genetically predetermined rate. This is why for some people the issue I love handles vs. Thighs vs. Belly fat.
Most important thing you should do is accept the new lifestyle you have chosen and make sure you eat at least 3 to 4 normal sized healthier meals a day. This will minimize your chance of weight regain. ...Read more
