Is Vitamin Water Good For Pregnant Women
Is the well woman plus omega 3 6 9 a good brand of one a day vitamin to take? Thinking about getting pregnant this year. Eating habits are not good.
Yes: I have checked out the ingredients and it looks like a very good quality multivitamin, better than most! however, I am concerned that your eating habits are not good. Vitamins are not a substitute for a healthy diet. A good diet is crucial during pregnancy. Please start improving your diet now- limit sugars, artificial sweeteners & fried foods, have salads & more vegetables & fruits! good luck! ...Read more
If you're pregnant or planning to get pregnant, there are many things you can do to give your baby a healthy start: Regular prenatal visits along with laboratory testing, ultrasounds, prenatal vitamins and immunizations (like the flu shot and whopping cough booster). It depends: Vitamin Water is a commercial drink that adds sweeteners, flavors and small amounts of vitamins and minerals to water. There are many varieties but most have about 32 grams of sugar (as cane sugar and fructose) and NONE of those are "good for you."Sugar is one of the least healthy things we can consume. But the "Zero" variety with no sugars (sweetened with stevia and erythritol) is relatively good. ...Read more
Vitamin water is just a big scam isn't it? Lol i'm actually not serious. Everything these days gives mixed results and we never really know if something is good for us, even if it should be. Well atleast anything processed.
So my question is simply this:
I : I am providing you the constituents of vitamin water: nutrition facts: serving size 8 fl oz; servings per container 2.5 calories 50 total fat 0g sodium 0mg total carbohydrate 13g total sugar 13g protein 0g vitamin c 60%; vitamin b3 10%; vitamin b6 10%; vitamin B12 10%; vitamin b5 10%, zinc 10% note: each bottle is 2.5 servings. Total calories if the bottle is consumed is approximately 125. Vitamins are over the counter and could be purchased at a reasonable price. A glass of water from the municipality could be adequate for health. Buyer beware is the dictum where it comes to consumer products. For hydrating the body the recommendations are 6 to 8 glasses of water per day. 20%(up to 2 glasses) or more could be obtained from the food we eat. In medicine the preference is for simplicity. Drink water when you are thirsty and take your vitamins separately. Consume food when you are hungry. That way you can be 'in tune' with your bodily needs and better maintain the homeostasis(equilibrium) of the body. I gave a reference to the kiss principle as stated in the wikipedia and also the national institute of health guidelines for re-hydrating the body on a daily basis for the losses it incurs through sweating etc., . ...Read more
I would say yes: I am not sure how much of values of vitamins in the "vitamin water" but seemingly much less chemicals than diet soda. Drinking just water and a daily vitamin will be much cheaper. Diet soda contains too many chemicals. Also, soda can contribute to anemia (binding your iron, and possibly much of calciums) and thinning bones. So, drink h20 to good health and save some pennies. Good luck. ...Read more

Counting : Counting calories and keeping a food journal can be two of the most effective ways to lose weight. Being accountable for what you put in your mouth by writing it down and being aware of calorie values will make you think about what you are eating. It is important to eat a good variety of foods, so as long as you count your calories, nothing necessarily has to be "off-limits". Get a kitchen scale and weigh your foods in order to know exactly how much you are eating and therefore how many calories. The healthiest diets involve whole grains, lots of fruits and vegetables, lean meats, fish and moderate dairy. Sugars and added oils/butter should be used sparingly. You need to eat at least three meals a day, though some people will advocate more frequent, smaller meals. An exercise program with a lot of cardio (brisk walking every day is the best!) is also important for muscle tone, strength, and cardiovascular health. Good luck! ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
How much water should one drink per day to keep the body&facial skin hydrated.vitamins are good for facial skin and any recommended fruits for skins.
Textbooks recommend: 8 eight oz. glasses of water daily. It may be too much for some folks. Vitamin E capsules are helpful for skin. Avoid lotions w/alcohol - too drying. Eat the rainbow--lots of variety in the colors of the fruits and vegetables you eat. Peace and good health. Vitamin E oil can be applied lightly and directly to problem areas on the skin. See dermatologist if you have moles or dark spots first ...Read more
