Is Vaginal Tightness A Pregnancy Symptom
I'm sexually active & vagina has been really tight could this be a pregnancy symptom and if not what else could it be? I'm also on ortho evra patch.
No: Vaginal "tightness" is not a symptom of pregnancy, and is not a side effect of ortho evra. There are many possibilities that could cause your symptoms, but I do not have enough information to diagnose or treat it. You may be totally normal.
When your due date arrives, you will be more than ready to have your baby! Most women deliver the baby somewhere between 37 and 42 weeks. According to the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, only 5% of babies arrive on the exact due date. Approximately 7% of babies are not delivered by 42 weeks, and when that happens, it is referred to ...Read more
I'm experiencing a heavy/achy pressure feeling in vagina/cervix area. Possible early pregnancy symptom?? Period is due in 12 days, on 4/26/17
Pelvic pressure: If your period is due in 12 days then that means you are right in the middle of the ovulation time or just after. It would be way too early for these symptoms to be related to being pregnant. Causes such as gas, constipation, bladder infections and vaginal infections are a few possible causes.
Varies: If due to spasm of the muscles then pelvic floor therapy, treatment of other sources of pain and medications maybenefit. If anatomical then stretching with dilators and possible surgery. If history of abuse counseling and pelvic floor therapy may be in order. If postmenopausal vaginal estrogen may help as well.See 1 more doctor answer
Depends: Cancer treatments can cause vaginal dryness that may feel like tightness. Chemotherapy and other cancer treatment (anti estrogen therapy) supress the function ot the ovaries. And production of the female hormones, estrogen. As the result many women stop having periods, some women become menopausal. The low level of estrogen makes the vaginal area dry that may cause the feeling of tightness.
I am scared whether vaginal tightness or looseness matters in sex? Is a tighter vagina better for sex or it doesn't make any difference?
Personal preference: It's the intimacy and giving and receiving of each other that makes the most difference. Males probably prefer tightness, and females probably prefer a little looseness. Sometimes, too tight can be painful and unpleasureable.
Extreme discomfort during sex: vaginal tightness, dryness, and feeling like I have to urinate. The obgyn said nothing is wrong. I use a lot of lube too.
A couple of ideas: Of course the most common reason for this would be a yeast infection. If you've ruled that out, along with any other sort of infection, like UTI or bacterial vaginitis. Then another reason might be vulvodynia or vaginismus. Vaginismus is when the vagina tightens involuntarily. Pelvic floor therapy can help with this. If more from the outside of vulva, then see a gynecologist who specializes.
Please clarify: Alum has no place in the use of vaginal problems. It is used for baking and pickling. Several other commercial uses are tanning, deodorants and textiles etc. Alum is not to be used for vaginal tightness. Alum is definitely irritating to skin and mucous membranes which includes the vagina. I hope I have answered your question.
Unlikely: This certainly would not be a classic pregnancy symptom.
Nope: Sometimes pregnant women don't have any nausea, breast swelling, back pain, pelvic pains, etc., etc. During pregnancy. Sometimes a little fatigue is all they notice (& occasionally, not even that!). There's nothing wrong with that! Although some women report that their symptoms disappeared before miscarriage occurred, it is not a bad thing, or a warning sign if u feel great during ur pregnancy.See 1 more doctor answer
NOT necessarily: When you become pregnant you may experience a number of strange symptoms however I do not think a bitter tongue is a tell tale sign of pregnancy. From a dental perspective if you notice your gums seem to bleed more than normal that may be a sign of pregnancy. With the ease of modern day pregnancy testing I would just get a test and end the curiosity!See 1 more doctor answer
The question is..: Are you late for your cycle? If you are, you need to take a pregnancy test. If your cycles are irregular, that will make undertanding what is going on more difficult, and plenty of young women become pregnant with irregular cycles and are taken by surprise. So, that's issue number one. Issue 2 is if the discharge is abnormal for you, you probaly should have a pelvic exam. Best wishes and be safe.See 2 more doctor answers
