Probably not helpful: Feminine washes for the most part are likely not helpful. The vaginal pH is meant to be kept a certain level to keep the bad bacteria in check. Changing that pH may make you susceptible to infections, itching and offensive odors. Never douche: Douching ("feminine wash") is not necessary for health or hygiene, and it increases the risk of vaginal infections. Don't do it, either with a feminine product, soap, or anything else. If you have symptoms that make you worried about a vaginal infection (discharge, odor, itching), douching won't cure it and could make it worse. Probably not: A lot of skin whitening products contain hydroquinone which is absorbed rapidly by the skin. There simply aren't enough tests to know if this is a safe topical treatment in pregnancy.
