I have orange urine every morning. It is clear after an hour. Is this a sign of liver disease or would the urine be darker all the time? Heavy drinker
Drink more water and: less alcohol. The dark color of your urine is likely due to dehydration and your alcohol intake is at least partly to blame for that. For good health - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Drink enough water daily, so that your urine is mostly colorless. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. Practice safe sex. ...Read more

Is it normal for infants & toddlers to have greenish stool first after diarhea that turns into yellowish later on i.e it is a part of recovery.
Pretty common: The greenish color in stool is the breakdown product of the bile when it has not been in the gut long enough to go through a change to yellowish or brown. It is normal as is the loose consistency. Some digested material will take on a darker tint than others & the germs in the gut will also impact the final product. I'd ignore the whole issue. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
