Is Trika A Sleeping Pill
Yes: Unless you're dying with end-stage congestive heart failure (hopefully not), the murmur is not an issue. However, Xanax (alprazolam) and sleeping pills have additive sedative effects (with respiratory depression) and should not be used together, just as alcohol should also be avoided with their use.See 1 more doctor answer
Alprazolam is a short acting benzodiazepine, it does not last long in the system. So when used regularly with multiple doses to treat anxiety, it is associated with inter-dose withdrawal, tolerance and a resulting increase level of baseline anxiety. So in anxiety clinics, we use it only in cases of " flight, dentist or other infrequent anxieties, ...Read more
Hi. What is the weakest sleeping pills that I can use every night for a short period without seeing a doctor? Is Alprazolam 0.5 good?
Sleeping pills: There are numerous sleeping pill side effects. If you are referring to benzodiazepines or z-drugs they can cause sleep walking/talking/eating/driving. You can feel drowsy in the daytime and it can impair your motor skills. Benzodiazepines can be highly addictive and lead to rebound insomnia when stopped. In a way: Anything that is sedating may be used as a sleeping pill. This medication is similar to other benzodiazepines (Xanax, Valium, Ativan, Klonopin, (clonazepam) Restoril). It primarily reduces the time to sleep onset by 4 -10 min. Prolongs the first two stages of sleep which does not result in prolonged total sleep time ~ 60 min longer. Reduces deep sleep and REM sleep thus not improving restorative sleep.
Alcohol drink? None: It can be potentially lethal to combine alcohol with sedating sleep aids. Together these substances reduces activity of the nervous system and lead to respiratory depression and eventually the breathing drive ceases during sleep. The synergistic (or multiplier) effect of the combination makes it unpredictable and inherently very dangerous.See 1 more doctor answer
Benadryl (diphenhydramine): Benadryl (diphenhydramine) will often work adequately to get a short amount of sleep for a five hour flight. For longer more predictable sleep, you may need to consider a prescription med such as ambien. Check with your primary care physician as to what may be appropriate for your situation.
Don't mix: You should not mix drinks with any pills specially sleeping pills risk of sedation.
CRAZY AFTER WAKING: Yes it can be, it depends on the pill you are taking. Try to change your sleepinig pill or abstain and see if symptoms go away.
Several things: Use earphones that shut out noise or listen to something that is relaxing to you. Cover you eyes with pads that keep the light out. Try a comfortable neck rest. You could also try 5 mg of overthe ounter melatonin to help you rest. Good luck!
Hypersomnolence: May get more sleepy during the day.

Horse chestnut?: If by "venastat" you mean the herb horse chestnut, there are a few medications it can interact with. What is the sleeping pill? Hard to answer your question without knowing that.
Trazodone: When my patients become tolerant of their sleeping pills and they stopped working for them my first choice as a go to medication is trazodone. I typically prescribed it in the 50 mg tablets and tell the patient to take one to three at bedtime. Since it is somewhat unpredictable in terms of the dose I tell the patients to start low and go slow and gradually increase the dose until they are sleeping through the night without feeling hung over the next day. At that point I tell them to take it no higher. This should be an adequate solution to your dilemma. Please discuss with your physician. Best wishes.
