Who feels fluid?: Do you mean you feel his head and neck and you feel something like fluid and swelling, or he feels like there is fluid inside his head? Lupus can cause a lot of funny symptoms--his doctor can suggest something to help. If he has actual swelling, he needs to be checked. ...Read more

See ortho: I presume you are already under the care of a rheumatologist. If you cannot get an answer from him, either get a 2nd opinion or consult an orthopedist. Having autoimmune disorders does not preclude you from getting the usually bone issues. ...Read more

Doctor can evaluate: Lupus patients may get infections (because their immune systems are not working properly), and they can get vasculitis (their immune systems cause damage to their blood vessels). Peripheral neuritis: Tori, this may or may not relate to the lupus. Lots of people have little sensitive places on the skin that can at times be painful and at times can tingle or feel like it's getting goosebumps or even go numb. Doubtful unless...: Undifferentiated Connective Tissue Disorders (UCTD) should not affect the propensity to sweat. If, however, you are using steroid therapy (such as prednisone) then you could very well experience sporadic sweating as a side effect of steroid Rx and not the UCTD itself. ...Read more

Could be pre-diabetes, but with the ANA issues, might look further into collagen vascular categories. Other considerations, include Celiac disease, Sjogren's, HIV, paraproteinemias, B-12, etc.
