No: The rabies vaccine will not give you a sore throat. If you are allergic to it, you could have swelling in the throat but that usually causes respiratory problems and / or itching. It is more likely that you got a viral infection of the throat around the same time as the vaccination - completely unrelated. ...Read more

Pharyngitis: i don't think sore throat related to rabies vaccine. It's normal to have flu-like symptoms with any vaccination such as fatigue , fever, headache, myalgia, dizziness, malaise, arthralgia. You may even get swollen lymph nodes in a neck area, but should not get just sore throat, please see you doctor to rule out pharyngitis such as strep infection ...Read more
