Pain: It's definitely not your gallbladder. There is something known as primary common bile duct stones, which can form in the tube connecting the liver and intestine. Also, could be an ulcer, inflammation if the pancreas, or even a muscle spasm. Best to see your primary care provider to check it out. May need some blood tests &/or imaging. If one rules out abnormal blood tests with attention to thyroid, liver, and blood counts, then consider several options for alleviating anxiety and near panic.
