Not necesarily: Albuterol is a med commonly used with asthma, but also many other transitional problems that will eventually go away. Probably 75% of the wheezing issues of small infants disappear by the age 5, although they may recur. Many lower respiratory viruses and other issues trigger wheezing in infants.
