Is There Any Relationship Between Menstruation And Either Gassiness Or Diarrhea
The menstrual cycle begins with the shedding of the uterine lining, resulting in bleeding from the vagina. A few weeks later, one ovary releases an egg and the uterine lining thickens in preparation for a potential pregnancy. Pregnancy can occur at this stage if sperm fertilizes the egg. If the egg is not fertilized, the egg will leave your body and ...Read more
Hida scan ef is 46%, but i still have waking in the night with diarrhea, nausea and vomiting occasionally, along with mild ruq pain, gassiness and bad tasting burps. Is this ef borderline?
Normal, borderlineEF: The ejection fraction of the gallbladder is the percentage of bile which is excreted when the gallbladder contracts. The "normal' value should be more than 40%. But this is only a number and may vary from time to time or according to some physiologic states or medications. If all other tests used in the investigation of your symptoms are normal, it would be good to control the ef. Good luck!See 3 more doctor answers

Can gassiness and loose stools with no other symptoms mean gluten sensitivity? Even with no tummy aches?
Yes,....or not: Above symptoms are not specific. Gluten containing foods are grains and grain products. They contain other components including carbohydrates, some of which may be poorly digested (or poorly digestible). The bacteria that normally live in the gut can ferment these and cause gas, loose stool. Lots of other possible causes including parasites, infection, inflammation, irritable bowel, etc. See md.

Rny, feb. 2012. Doing good till past 4 days. I'm afraid I have intestinal obstruction. Intermittent cramps, bloating, very little watery diarrhea.
No: It can not be caused by coffee beans but most probably caused by cream or milk in the coffee if you have lactose intolerance In some people drinking morning coffee makes them go to bathroom to move bowel, but it is not diarrhea and not much bloating,it is just a reflex activity which some like as it keeps them regularSee 1 more doctor answer
Not unusual: About 6% of patients will develop these symptoms after cholecystectomy. The treatment will need sometimes anti-dirrhea medication first and if it did not work then Cholesteramin powder may be needed.
Pelvic pain: Many different things can give you those symptoms. Diverticulitis, colitis, colon polyps, adhesions/obstruction, ovarian cysts, less likely cancers can all give you left pelvic pains. If this is recurrent or has lasted more than a couple days i would see a surgeon or gynecologist asap. They will be able to examine, take a good history, obtain images or obtain a colonoscopy that will help.

What causes frequent bloating and gas and cramps throughout the day .diarrhea occasionally and constipation . And how do I treat it?

Could be irritable bowel syndrome. Could even be related to the thyroid or other endocrine issues. Hard to tell without an investigation.
Recurrent diarrhea, bloating, dull pain at lt. abdomen, stools mixed with mucous like thingy for months. What could it be? It's on and off.
Mucus on stool: Mucus discharge occurs in up to 50% of patients with irritable bowel syndrome, with or without pain. Mucus may also be produced in response to partial obstruction, chronic constipation, rectal dysfunction, infection, & even from secretory villous tumors of the rectum. At the very least stool studies & probably a sigmoidoscopy should be considered, but a more extensive evaluation may be warranted.
