Is there any possible harm in going to sleep with a cough drop in your mouth?

Yes...: There is a risk of the cough drop going into your airway which is less protected while you sleep. Your cough reflex is suppressed during sleep so if the cough drop goes "down the wrong way", you could actually block your airway and essentially choke in your sleep. I have asthma and going to move in a new room which is just finish painiting in five days, is it harmful, bad for health or has any risky?

Be careful..: Usually irritants that smell very strong can trigger asthma. It all depends what type of paint was used and how strong it is. Usually if you can still smell it it could potentially cause respiratory irritation and asthma symptoms. If that is the case wait a couple of more days in order to stay in the room for a significant amount of time. ...Read more
